A team of experienced clinical psychologist and psychiatrists offer services for optimal mental wellbeing. Services are available for all age groups through outpatient and in-patients basis.
The focus of the services is on the prevention and treatment of mental, emotional and behavioral disorders such as schizophrenia, mood disorder, and substance-induced disorder, personality disorder, behavioral problems and many more.
Clinical Psychology Service
Clinical psychologist collaborates with the medical team to address the psychological stressors or preexisting mental health conditions that could be aggravated by the neurological condition, trauma or tumours, headache and pain management. Psycho-diagnostic evaluations, psychometric assessments are used to help the wide range of mental and behavioral problems including organic brain damage, neurodevelopmental disorders, intellectual disability, personality disorder or eating disorders that comes under the diagnostic criteria of DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders) and ICD (International Classification of Diseases).
Assessment:
Cognitive assessment- using tools such as BGT, MMSE, MoCA, rating scales, and IQ screening in mild to moderate head injuries, neurological deficits or any form of organic brain damage.
Personality assessment- IPDE, Eysneck’s personality Inventory
Projective assessment, Rorschach test, Thematic Apperception Test, draw a man tests are used. Other Diagnostic Rating Scales are used on the need basis of the client.
