Introduction
Welcome to the Upendra Devkota Memorial National Institute of Neurological and Allied Sciences (UDM-NINAS), Bansbari.
Founded in 2006, by Late Professor Upendra Devkota, the primary purpose of our institute is to provide state of the art care for brain, spinal, and other allied specialties under one roof.
Our Legacy
Professor Devkota's, unwavering dedication to his country and the desire for the advancement for neuroscience brought him back to Nepal — culminating in the now world-renowned institute that stands in Bansbari today.
The very foundation of our institute are build upon the operational excellence.
Our legacy inspires our innovation; we were the first ever dedicated neurociences institute in Nepal. We run the first and the only dedicated 24 hours stroke services in the country. We are always looking towards our next 'first'!
2020, saw UDM-NINAS pioneering yet again with the first ever Bi-plane Cathlab in the country, bringing the endovascular procedures within the reach of it's people.
