This Picture Archiving and Communication System provides viewing of completed CT and MRI studies on video screens in the Library/Conference Room and soon will be available on hospital terminals throughout the hospital.
The Hospital has a Biomedical Engineering Department with specially trained personnel, Biomedical Equipment Technicians (BMET’s), to assure that the medical equipment used for patient diagnosis, treatment or monitoring is calibrated and in good operating condition. This is done through an effective medical equipment maintenance program that includes regular preventive maintenance/calibration and rapid, effective repair of the equipment. Specialized medical equipment testing instruments are used.
